Perishable & Custom-made

All sales are final. Because our baked goods are made to order, perishable, and in many cases custom-labeled, we cannot accept returns or exchanges.

If your order arrives damaged or is incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery so we can assist (see “Damaged/Incorrect Orders” below).

What this policy covers

  • Products: Schiacciata Fiorentina, Ricciarelli, Cantucci, and other fresh or shelf-stable bakery items produced by Tuscany Cuisine.
  • Order types: Standard, bulk, catering, and custom-label packaging.
  • Payment: All payments are processed securely via PayPal on our product pages.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If an item arrives damaged or your order is incorrect, email us within 48 hours of delivery at info@tuscanycuisine.com with:

  1. Order number and name
  2. Photos of the item, inner packaging, and outer box/label
  3. A brief description of the issue

We’ll review and, if eligible, offer a replacement or a credit at our discretion. We do not issue refunds to the original payment method for perishable goods.

Cancellations & Order Changes

  • Cancellations: Requests must be received before production begins. Once we start baking or labeling, the order is final.
  • Address changes: Must be requested prior to shipment. We are not responsible for delays or loss due to incorrect addresses provided at checkout.
  • Missed deliveries: We cannot replace products due to missed carrier delivery attempts or packages left unattended.

Allergen & Storage Notice

Our products may contain wheat, eggs, milk, and tree nuts (almonds). Please review product descriptions carefully. Store sealed cookies at room temperature (up to 10–14 days). Schiacciata is best within 2–3 days, kept covered.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Perishable foods (all bakery items)
  • Custom-label or personalized goods
  • Opened or partially consumed items
  • Gift cards or digital downloads (if offered)

Chargebacks

Please contact us first to resolve any issues quickly. Filing a chargeback without contacting us may delay resolution, as we provide carriers’ and production records to the processor.
